you know that feeling you get when you meet someone new. you know how your eyes meet for that split second, and embarrased you look away quickly and hope to god that your cheeks arent as bright as they feel. you know how your heart starts beating faster and it almost feels as though its fluttering. your wondering how gravity hasnt already smooshed you to the ground cos, man, your legs are shaking madly and your scared to move because a single lift of the foot might send you flat on your face with a mouthful of gravel. you know how you start nervously shivering and all your emotions have sunk down into your tummy and are mixing into something you cant quite comprehend. you know somethings making you happy and that smile thats crawled its way in seems something like a miracle because nothing has had you tingling like this in what feels like forever; but what ever it is, you welcome it with open arms. and then you look back up to this face that seems unfamiliar but you see those eyes and know your trapped in the same place you were yesterday, the day before, months before.. but your not really trapped. your the one that walked through the gates, locked and threw away the key. your the one that got on your knees and begged your lucky stars that he would find something in you that you havent, and by some crazy chance he might actually enjoy the company. you know that warm feeling you get when your fingers intwine and he pulls you in under his chin for the biggest hug. you know how you try real hard not to faint or pass out in his arms because your heart is beating these crazy rhythms thats making you dizzy. you know how when you get back from a long day and smell that familiar scent and know youre home.. thats love, babe. bottle it up and throw it in the ocean because just incase you lose what youve got, you'll only have to search the sea to get it back.
